We’re excited to share our co-chairs for this year’s Red Tie Gala: Robert “Bob” Bunnett, Dr. Korie Flippo of Texas Oncology and her husband Matt Tribolet!
For Bob, giving back to Cancer Support Community North Texas is a way to honor his wife Borbala, who died of pancreatic cancer last year.
Korie and Matt hope to “spotlight the importance of mental health support for cancer patients,” as they shared in a My Sweet Charity article.
Korie says, “As an oncologist – and as a couple whose family has been touched by cancer – I see the daily importance of mental health support after a diagnosis. It is a privilege to stand behind Cancer Support Community North Texas, a beacon of hope for those battling cancer and their loved ones.”
