Cancer Resource Specialist (Bilingual) | (214) 345-8428 The Cancer Resource Specialist aids in survivors’ achievement of their optimal quality of life by focusing on mitigating the psychosocial and emotional health and quality of life challenges of cancer survivors. Our Resource Specialist, Patricia, assesses and refers survivors to appropriate resources that remove these barriers. She helps facilitate access to services. Patricia may assist with care coordination; provide general survivor education; and empower survivors to optimize time with clinicians and seek appropriate follow up care. The Cancer Resource Specialist’s services are free of charge to all North Texas residents.

CancerEd Online is the Cancer Support Community’s newest interactive educational program for cancer patients, survivors and caregivers. CancerEd Online contains short courses covering what you need to know about topics like self-advocacy, new ways of managing cancer care and precision medicine. Most courses last 5-10 minutes.
